WHO ARE WE?

Hello, everyone!

My name is Ricardo (Rikk) and I’m the founder, circuit designer, mechanical and electronic technician, accountant, marketing director, social media manager and above all workshop mop-and-bucket cleaner at Tone.electroniX (T.X Pedals).

T.X Pedals (for short) is a Portuguese effects pedal brand created in 2020 – practically at the start of the pandemic. Its primary aim was to launch the “Animalizzer” Fuzz, which for the next few years was the only effect marketed by the brand.

Interestingly, the following years the pandemic hitted, and during that time I managed to sell a few Animalizzer – when I say a few, I mean a couple of units a month – I guess the limitations imposed by the pandemic caused a “jump” in sales of musical instruments and related equipment worldwide during that time.

I was thrilled with the excellent feedback my friends and customers gave to the Animalizzer. My family has also been very supportive, which has given me even more strength and commitment to keep working, improving and standing up for the brand – especially my daughter, Constança, who is always willing to help!

“Why would you start ‘another’ pedal company?” – you may ask.

Well, maybe one of my creations could bring a happy devilish grin on just ONE face when a chord is hit, and that’s enough reason.

We are small, but proud of ourselves. T.X Pedals is not just a “logo”, it has human faces, persons behind it thriving to create, share those creations and hopefully bring some joy and inspiration to you!
