Dive into the Nebulae!

Boost, drive and fuzz inspired by the Sam Ash FuzzBoxx and Astrotone, rebuilt to go further.

The Nebulae starts where most pedals stop. Even with the Gain at minimum, it adds grit and texture that feels integrated with your guitar, not pasted on top. Push it and it opens into a wide range of tones, from warm vintage edge to full-on fuzz, while keeping the kind of dynamics players usually expect from a great drive/fuzz pedal.

The clean-up is a key part of the Nebulae. Roll your guitar volume down and the pedal responds like you just gained an extra control. Set your favourite fuzz tone with Gain high, then use your guitar volume to move through drive, crunch and near-clean textures without losing the feel.

What you can do with

Use it as a tone shaper, a low gain drive with character, a classic-style fuzz, or a flexible booster that stacks beautifully with your amp and other pedals. It fits naturally in blues, rock and indie contexts where you want dirt and edge while keeping clarity and dynamics.

Control and feel the fuzz

Volume sets the output level. Gain adjusts saturation from textured grit to thick fuzz. Tone lets you shape the overall colour. Presence is a 2-position switch that shifts how the top end and bite sit in the mix.

Power and build

The Nebulae runs on 9V DC via a 5×2.1mm centre-negative jack. It does not support batteries and requires an external power supply. It’s true bypass and includes an LED on/off indicator.

In the box

You get a leaflet with description, serial number and date, instructions, and pre-defined settings. Power supply is not included.

Nebulae FAQs

  1. Does the Nebulae clean up with the guitar volume?

Yes. The Nebulae cleans up superbly using the guitar volume knob, even with Gain set high. Many players use the guitar volume like an extra gain control.

  2. Where should I place it in my chain?

Start by placing fuzz early in the chain. If you run buffers, active pickups, or always-on pedals before fuzz, you may prefer different placements. Adjust based on feel and noise in your rig.

  3. Can I stack it with other pedals?

Yes. Nebulae stacks well with amps and other pedals. Start with lower gain settings and adjust volume for unity or boost.

  4. Is noise normal with fuzz?

Fuzz circuits can amplify noise depending on pickups, power quality and gain settings. Use a reliable isolated power supply, keep cables in good condition, and dial gain around what the part needs.
